You must go to your Instagram stories archive to retrieve deleted Instagram stories.
Once you're in your tales archive, locate and save the story you wish to rescue.
The archived article will be saved to your photo gallery when you save it.
On your profile, you can also re-share the stored tale.
When you re-share the story, it will automatically include a “Memories” description as well as the date.
You may also delete the caption by dragging and dropping it into the trash icon if you don't want it.
However, Instagram stories that have been automatically erased after a 24-hour period can only be recovered.
You might not be able to find an Instagram story you removed manually in your stories archive.
As a result, we've put together a step-by-step guide on how to recover deleted Instagram stories.
Step 1: Select “Archive” from the drop-down menu.

To access your Instagram archive, tap “Archive.”

Step 2: Select the story you'd like to retrieve.
Stories archive > find the tale you wish to recover in the archive.
You'll be taken to the archive page after tapping “Archive.
The tales archive, posts archive, and live archive are the three archive pages.
You may view your previous Instagram stories in the stories archive.
All of your past posts are displayed in the posts archive.
Finally, the live archive displays your previous Instagram live streaming.
Tap the dropdown arrow on the top navigation bar if you aren't on the “Stories archive” page.
Then, from the three options, choose “Stories archive.”
You'll see a grid list of all your previous Instagram stories after selecting “Stories archive.”
Because these stories are sorted by newest first, you'll have to scroll up to discover an older one.
By looking at the date tag in the left corner of each tale, you'll be able to know the exact time you uploaded it.
Locate the story you wish to watch and tap on it to view it.
If you can't locate the story, it's possible that you erased it manually.
If that's the case, you won't be able to recover the deleted story unless you save it to your photo gallery first.

Step 3: Make a copy of the photo or video.
To save the photo or video to your gallery, go to “More” > “Save Photo/Video.”
The photo/video will be extended when you've tapped on the deleted story you want to recover.
The image/video will be displayed as if it were a regular narrative.
You'll see three separate icons at the bottom of the story: “Promote,” “Highlight,” and “More.”
You can advertise your story to individuals who don't follow you using the “Promote” tool.
The story will be added to the highlights of your choosing when you click “Highlight.”
Finally, selecting “More” will expand your possibilities.
To see more options, tap on “More.”
You can either delete the story, save it, share it as a post, re-share it, or tag a business partner after tapping “More.”
Tap “Save Photo” to save the photo to your gallery if the story is a photo.
If the story is a video, however, hit on “Save Video” instead.
Alternatively, press “Reshare archived content” if you want to re-share the story.
When you re-share the story, you'll see a “Memories” caption with the date it was originally published.
If you don't want the caption, you can delete it by dragging it to the trash icon.
