How Do You Download All Photos From Facebook

You don’t have to download each picture individually, thankfully. This post will show you how to download them all at the same time.

Some Facebook users want to download all of their pictures in bulk because they wish to deactivate their accounts.

If that’s the case, having the ability to download your photos and videos first is a huge plus. When you use Facebook for the web, the following is how it works:

  1. Log in to your Facebook account using any browser, then click the downward-pointing arrow in the upper right corner of the window.
  2. Then go to “Settings & Privacy,” then “Settings.”
  3. On the left side of the box, choose the “Your Facebook Information” option.
  4. You must now choose the “Download your Information” option.
  5. By default, all of your information’s categories are chosen. Select “Deselect all” from the drop-down menu.
  6. Select “Photos and Videos” from the drop-down menu.
  7. Change the date range, format (HTML or JSON), and media quality (optional).
  8. Finally, in the right corner, click the “Create File” button.

Facebook will begin generating a file including all of the pictures and videos you’ve posted or shared on the site.

This file will also include additional files that will be used to organize your pictures and movies. Keep in mind that the time it takes to finish the file will vary depending on how many pictures and videos you have on Facebook. You’ll get a notice as well as an email from Facebook once it’s finished.

Switch to the “Available copies” tab on the same page where you requested the download for the last step. Save the prepared file to your computer by clicking the “Download” button next to it.

Only the pictures from the Facebook page for which you are the administrator may be downloaded. You will, however, have to download all additional material in addition to the pictures and movies.

In essence, you’re creating a complete duplicate of your page. For the time being, that’s the only way it works on Facebook sites. Here’s how you go about it:

  1. Click “Pages” on the left side of the window in your News Feed.
  2. Choose “Settings” after selecting your page.
  3. Select “General,” then “Download Page.”
  4. Select “Create File” from the drop-down menu.
  5. Facebook may take a few minutes to generate a downloadable file. Save it to your smartphone after it’s finished.

Facebook does not enable data from groups to be extracted, unlike pages. There are a number of reasons why this might be the case. Some organizations have tens of thousands of members and wish to keep their information private.

Extraction of files from groups would result in huge files on the technical side. Some web browser extensions and add-ons allow you to download individual Facebook albums, but they aren’t always reliable.

iPhone users may now download all of their Facebook pictures on their devices. Make sure you have adequate capacity on your phone when it’s time to download the compressed file before you begin. The following is how it works:

  1. On your iPhone, open the Facebook app and touch the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner.
  2. Choose “Settings” and then “Your Facebook Information” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Now choose “Download Your Information” from the drop-down menu.
  4. Deselect all categories and select “Photos and Videos” from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select the date range, format, and media quality, then click “Create File.”
  6. Switch to the “Available Copies” page once Facebook generates the file.
  7. Tap the “Download” button, then “Continue” after entering your password.
  8. You may save your compressed file to either your camera roll or iCloud.

Users with Android devices may now download all of their Facebook pictures in a single compressed file. Here’s what you need to do if you have an Android phone or tablet:

  1. Locate the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of the screen while using the Facebook app.
  2. Choose “Your Facebook Information” from the “Settings” menu.
  3. Select “Download your Information” next. Make sure that all of the checked categories are deselected.
  4. Now go to “Photos and Videos” and pick the date range, file type, and media quality you want.
  5. Wait for Facebook to collect all of the material by clicking on “Create File.”
  6. Switch to the “Available Copies” tab and download your compressed file when you’re finished.

If you often use the Facebook Messenger app on your smartphone, the number of photos you save to your device’s storage may rapidly pile up. As a result, Messenger disables this function by default.

You won’t be able to download all of your pictures at once if you’ve previously shared a lot of them with your pals. By touching on the picture and saving it to your smartphone, you may save them separately.

However, if you want to make this a future automatic action and avoid having to save it manually, follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Settings” in the Messenger app on your smartphone.
  2. Choose “Data & Storage” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Check the box next to “Save Photos.”

It’s as simple as that.

You can only download all of your pictures from Facebook at once if you’re using your own account or page. This information will be accessible in the “Your Facebook information” area under “Settings” whether you’re using a browser or the Facebook mobile app

You may then choose the types of data you wish to download. Make sure that “Photos and Videos” is selected. You may also choose the date range, file type, and quality of the images and videos you want to export.

After you’ve specified all of your settings, click the “Create File” button to allow Facebook time to create the file for download. Finally, click the “Download” button under the “Available copies” page.

Because the generated file may be several GB in size, ensure sure you have a steady internet connection and adequate storage to store it.

You don’t always need every picture or video from your Facebook account; sometimes you just need a certain album. You don’t have to complete all of the procedures outlined above if this is the case. There’s an easy method to get the CD you desire. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to your profile on Facebook after logging in.
  2. Then choose “Albums” from the “Photos” menu.
  3. Select the album you wish to download and then click on the album’s three horizontal dots.
  4. Choose “Download Album.”

Bottom Line

When Facebook has collected all of the pictures and videos from the album, they will send you an email.

You will be sent a zip file containing all of the material from that album.

You may store any data, including pictures and videos, if you have a Facebook business page. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to save the pictures on their own.

All you have to do is go to your company’s website and click “Settings.” Go to “General,” then “Download Page” from the drop-down menu. Select “Download Page” and then “Create File” once again. When all of your company page data is ready to download, Facebook will notify you.
